Long Reprieve
What a long reprieve. Well, we are finally starting to settle in. I can not believe we have been here for over six months now. I don't miss ANYTHING about academia. My job is great. I truly love it. My wife's job has turned out to be really great too, with great people to work with. So we are very happy on the career side. Now we just need to find a house to buy. We are so over apartment living! The apartment, which we pay way too much for, has really turned into the hood. Some real freaks live here!
We used to be sure that our dog was pure Chihuahua, just a big fat one. But then I got to thinking recently that he has an awfully curly tail and a lot more folds and wrinkles around his head than would be expected. The it dawned on me. I think he is half Pug, a.k.a he is a Chug! He is a great dog either way, so I cannot complain.
Personal migraine news: I went back to lamictal, but only taking 10 mg every other day. Works like a charm!!!! And no SJS!!! I have went from 2-3 migraines per week to 1 OR ZERO per month! Fortunately, the migraine relief dosage threshold is lower that the SJS symptom inducing dosage.
I promise I will start writing again. That is all for now though. Spater!

As for the migraines! I was having migraines on a weekly basis until I went on Topamax, now, I may have one about every 3-4 months.
